Questions, bugs, billing, or feedback — we're happy to help.
It reads the subscription emails already in your Gmail inbox — entirely inside your browser. It does not use the Gmail API, and your email content is never sent to any server. Click the extension icon and "Scan Inbox" to detect them.
Yes. All detection happens locally in your browser, and your detected subscriptions are stored on your own device. The only things that leave your browser are requests to our licensing service (for trials, checkout, and license verification — never email content) and your own Google profile photo. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Open the extension, find the sender, and click Unsubscribe — we take you straight to the right unsubscribe page. Unsubscribing relies on senders honoring the request, so a few stubborn senders may keep emailing.
Click Ignore on the sender's row in the extension, or choose Ignore Sender from the badge menu in Gmail. Ignoring applies to the whole brand, so a company's other sending addresses (say their news and promos addresses) go quiet too, and it sticks across future scans.
To undo it, open Subscriptions, set the status filter to Ignored, and click Restore — or Restore all to bring everything back. Restoring returns the sender with its history intact; nothing was deleted while it was hidden.
That's Magic Cleanup: click it and every subscription email in the current list folds out of view, leaving the mail from real people. Click it again to bring them all back. It's free and included in the free tier.
It only changes what you see. Those emails are not deleted, archived, marked read, moved or unsubscribed, and nothing is changed in Gmail itself — so anything you hide reappears on its own when you switch labels, run a search, or reload Gmail.
The counter next to the wand opens a list of exactly what's hidden, with a Show button to bring back individual emails. If you'd rather not have the button in your toolbar, turn off Magic Cleanup Button in the extension's Settings.
Pro adds the inbox health score, the paid-subscription spend tracker, the insights engine (trends, dormant senders, cleanup tips), automatic detection of new subscriptions, bulk unsubscribe, and unlimited tracking. Pro starts with a 7-day free trial — no card required; tap "Start free trial" in the extension.
Pro activates automatically: after payment, the extension detects your completed checkout and unlocks Pro within a couple of minutes — you can close the checkout tab as soon as payment succeeds. If you have a license key (for example from another device), open the extension → Settings, paste it into "License key", and click Activate.
Up to three, and a separate Chrome profile counts as one of them — so a work laptop, a home machine and a second profile all fit. Paste your license key into Settings on each one.
That happens after a reinstall, clearing the extension's data, or a new laptop — the old installation still holds a slot. Open Settings → Deactivate my other devices, then click Activate on the device you're using now; the released devices drop back to the free tier the next time they check in. Still stuck? Email us.
Your license key is available in the extension under Settings while Pro is active, and the purchase email we sent you contains it too — that email has an “Open your license key” link that shows the key with a copy button. If Pro never activated after payment, email support@manilamail.app from the address you bought with and we'll sort it out.
You can cancel anytime from the extension's Settings or through Paddle; access continues until the end of your billing period, and the extension drops back to the free tier on its own within a few days of that. Not satisfied? We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy.
Gmail occasionally changes its layout. If you see a "detection is paused" notice, reload Gmail and make sure you're on the latest version of the extension. If it persists, email us — we'll push a fix.
